David, I have only seen you work one boerboel in protection work, and that would be Night Train. I know Norman had his son Gordo and he did some work with him, but have you worked any of your other dogs...and if so, do you have any video or photos?

A few weeks ago we worked another boerboel from another program and I must say I have seen potential in the breed in some of the boerboels we have come across and worked, but honestly I would like to see a bit more drive and better nerves.

On that note, I think PP people...be it sport or not...is better for the breed than are people that do nothing with the dogs except hope.

We have worked dogs from kennels that have dogs that will, "protect you with their lives," but in the end about 90% of such dogs are owned by people that do NOTHING with their dogs other than hope...and they are rather surprised when their dog sits down or backs up, as most people don't seem to recognize that simply barking when someone comes up the driveway does NOT make a dog a PP candidate.
