Jenny, I have no quarrel with you or the EBBASA (does the 'E' really stand for 'elite')? Tell me no. And please tell me what a Chinese whisperer is.

Here may be part of the problem, the "attack work", their words not yours, showing up in your same post admitting that the EBBASA within days revealed their own "plan to form a group for those interested in working and possibly testing their dogs"... connection or just poor timing? It looks like one Country of origin registry just following in the footsteps of another. When after many years of ignorance one makes a move and another quickly follows siut it appears to many of us to be market related...correct me if I am wrong. That is the way it feels. The struggle for market domination has been a hallmark and leading indicator that a real lack of co-operation exists amoung Boerboel breeders in the direction of breed improvement...it is the same old struggle for legitimacy Clay speaks of...we have been watching this for a very long time...it looks like more of the same.

Go back to my original post...we ARE trying to help you...we are fairly shouting that we have stood where you now stand...we have tried what you are about to try...do NOT let this "work" turn into "attack work" because you let some nuts get at the helm of your floundering ship. Do NOT turn your attention from what you must surely know about this breed and its best qualities, do not turn this over to the sport/biting/competition/backyard neighborhood menace crowd. Look around, we already have those breeds. Look at some of the BSL going around, ask Shuan and Ann if the breed needs a nastier reputation because you have let the sport crowd change the nature of our dog. Think about it, if nothing else, think of what THAT will do for your marking strategy.

David
