The nightshade had been absent. But this...this was a different type of absence. It was only moments at a time the magnificent beast would come into view, usually dragging along some fresh corpse or gingerly carrying live prey within the tenderness of her jaws. Oxymoron anyone?

Her pudgy form had flattened out, and once again she was slim. Slim yet ever so large. The female who had been lazy about life seemed to never stop moving now. No longer would you find her sprawled in the branches of a tree, or lying dead asleep in it's shade. She was passing through, crossing creaks, slipping over rotting trunks. Always moving. Like some sort of orange, striped liquid.

She held a mask of suspicion. Amber eyes darted around her warily, making sure she had no followers. It would be by her choice that her burdens would be exposed.
