The large blue feline clicked his tongue softly. Purple eyes rolled ever so slightly heavenward. Then he struck out. His hand, which it could only be called since he pocessed a thumb, snagged itself into her filthy clothing an drug her to him. When he had her dirty pink nose almost touching his warm black one he whispered.
"Dear Angie. You don't even KNOW what you need. You have been too long in denying your past to even come close to comprehending your future."
A slow smile curled the silent paws mouth. "You are NOT as tough as you are pretending. And deep inside of you, you are as thrilled as the pale girl just to have people near you who actully like you."
He gently released her and dusted lightly at her clothes. "As for the others... It is as you fear, THEY do not need you to protect them. Even if the boy does not know it, the two of them have a god gift that protects them even now in their sleep." Again he smiled cooly, "That would be why you are suddenly being so mean to them both, is it not? You fear they don't need you so you wish to prove that you do not need them first. So childish. Don't you realize they WANT you with them?"
He turned from her and walk back toward the camp. His black tipped tail waved to her. "My name is NobelNomis Le Brandonburg. You may call me Nobel or Nomis or Brandon. The choice is yours."
He looked back to her again and smiled warmly this time. "As for the Silent Paw... I am not here looking for a mate. I am here to help her. You see... We are all connected and I can not abide her pain a moment longer."

As they approached, Angie looking as sullen as ever, Monet was struck half between defending the cave and half between allowing this strange new creature in. There was something strangly familair about him.
The blue cat looked up into the tree where Monet lay in wait and spoke softly. "I am not here to cause you or your girl harm. You need have no fear of me Tiger-lir"
Monet growled softly. ::I do not fear you cat. Were you to harm Alexis you would not live to see anouther day.::
The Silent Paw inclined his head in respect toward Monet. "Then we understand one anouther. May I approach?"
::Do as you will.:: Quietly to Alexis he nudged her, ::Wake up Mei'hana, we have a visitor.::
In the cave Alexis stirred slightly. ::In the morning Monet, I have only just fallen asleep.:: She curled more tightly to the warmth Jeff brought. ::They'll have to wait.::
