In reply to: The Cheysuli Clan 's message, "Help For the Weary" on 19:08:11 03/20/03 Thu

Michael bowed low in the custom of his people, and as he rose Evan came and perched on his arm much in the manner of the hawk-lir on the Leader's arm.

"Your welcome is greatly appreciated," the boy said carefully, struggling to remember proper clan protocol as Gabriel had done. "I would gladly accept your invitation but our purpose is a matter of some haste."

::We represent a group that tracks three young children,:: Evan explained, ::two of them Cheysuli, who desperately need our help yet will not openly accept it. They travel towards the mountains.::

"They have no weapons, no blankets, and no provisions," Michael continued, and Evan was surprised to hear real concern in his warrior's voice. "We have come to beg of you a brace of horses, and blankets to cover them should they attempt the mountains."

::We can assure that the horses would be well cared for,:: Evan added. ::Our leader would not have it otherwise.::

He bowed his head and Michael bent low once more. Together, they waited in silence for the leader's reply.
