[Careful Mags--According to vs 11-12, the Law did not produce the levitical priesthood; but the priesthood required the Law. Remember this when you try to pervert Acts 2:38 to try and make people believe water baptism with evidence of speaking in tongues equates to salvation.]

because the Gospel (plan of salvation) was given to the Gentiles and they did hear it.

And in His name shall the Gentiles trust. [Matthew 12:21]

The rules of priestly duties changed, because there is only one High Priest, Jesus, and sons of Jesus can boldly approach the throne without condemnation. Nevertheless, God's opinion about abominations did not change. He detests homosexuality, adultery, breaking covenants. Our conduct is greatly influenced by our fashion, attitude, spirit, ignorance, etc. Jesus still wants a holy people separated unto Himself. Be ye holy for I am Holy, saith the Lord. (both testaments)

[For someone who takes the Bible so literal as yourself; i.e. you won't cut your hair out of fear for violating Scripture; only the "sons" can boldly approach Him.]
