Noting on Romans, the 10th chapter, Sh'aul laid the groundwork in 9:30-33. The emphasis is on righteousness and why Israel(Legalist like Jackals, Dorito, etc.) lacks it. Sh'aul lays the responsibility on the individual. People like Dorito lay the responsibility on her husband and church(i.e. "I would be estranged from my husband if I left the RCC) This, BTW, makes her husband and church responsible for her sin and salvation. Dorito doesn't need a Savior. Then comes Jackals, the same form of failed theology. He tries to mix legalism and antinomienism. A toxic brew of denying the necessity of the Law as the taskmaster, while mixing Charismatic teachings on baptismal regeneration; salvation and being filled with the Holy Spirit with "evidence of speaking in unknown tongues." Again, if you have tongues and water baptism for salvation, you don't need a resurrected Mechiach as your personal savior.

Rom 10:2-4
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

The Kumbaya/Pacadorian types have a definate zeal for G_d, "but not according to knowledge." They constantly blame their lack of knowledge(i.e., they are, in effect, blaming G_d), and even blame others posting on forums for their foolishness. The problem is with their "improper motives" having caused them a misguided zeal for reading the Word of G_d and teaching false and wrong doctrines from Hell.

They, through "their good works," are about establishing their own daffynition of righteousness. In essence, through their own "goodness," they have saved themselves for to earn righeousness is to gain spurious righteousness. Any attempt to establish one's own righteousness is open rebellion against G_d and His method of establishing righteousness in us. As Sh'aul continues, that can only come through "the end of the law," which is Mechiach Y'shua. There is but one "catch" to the end of the law though. Y'shua is only the end, "to everyone that believeth."

The great message here is the difference between self-established and G_d established righteousness. The Jackals-Dorito dog and phoney pony show seeks only to keep men in bondage to man's self-established form of righteousness. The "accessibility" of the message of G_d's righteousness is only available through their failed doctrines of men. Through those teachings from Hell, they deny the resurrected Mechiach. The Gospel Truth is Mechiach Y'shua is alive and is living proof of G_d's righteousness.

So, salvation MUST entail the confession that Y'shua is Lord. Confession of His Lordship is to "believe in thine heart that G_d has raised him from the dead." Giving the Lord "lip service" to that fact is NOT sufficient for salvation. Confession with the mouth is evidence of genuine faith in the heart. Confession with the mouth of the Lordship and resurrection of Mechiach Y'shua does NOT bring about genuineness of belief in the heart, but it gives evidence to it. Sh'aul then goes on further, in chapter 10, to teach the ground for responsibility and the failure of responsibility through disobedience to the Gospel.

The Gospel Truth has been offered. Rejection of that timeless truth falls directly upon that person and where they will spend eternity.
