Characteristics of a Blasphemer or One Who is Apostate

1. Consistently displays insubordination; refuses to submit to authority. (1 Sam 15:23)

2. Mocks God's messengers. (2 Chron. 36:16)

3. Scoffs at God's prophets (those who expose sin). (2 Chron. 36:16)

4. Claims that God does not see THEIR sin cause they jusify it as "good works" according to their outward
understanding. (Ps. 10:3-11)

5. They have lost all fear of God. (Ps. 36:1)

6. Thinks she is pure (rejects the truth about herself). (Prov. 30:12)

7. Intentionally calls evil good and good evil. (Isa. 5:20)

8. Consistently and totally rejects any evidence for divine truth and divine authority (no amount of evidence
can convince her she is wrong because she does not want to submit). (Luke 16:27-31 & Rom. 1:18-32)

9. Evades the truth and refuses to be pinned down by definitions, labels, axioms, or conclusions and blatant
lies. (John 18:38 & Titus 3:9-11)

10. Delights in rebellion, exhibits it herself, and encourages it in others. (Rom. 1:18-32)

11. Cleverly and knowingly distorts God's Word. (Gal. 1:7-9 & 2 Pet. 3:16)

12. Has had her conscience seared that the conviction of the Holy Spirit is not heard. (1 Tim 4:1-5)

13. Openly and knowingly reviles with her tongue & lies, but thinks she is still walking in light. (John 1:5-7)

14. Attempts to cast curses with her tongue upon those she cannot control or intimidate with her sharp
tongue & threats. She deceives herself for her tongue is unbridled. (James 1:26)

15. Strife is her way with others (1 Timothy 6:1-5)
