You should take the canoe trip DOWN the Snake River, starting at Jackson Hole, instead of up. That's an awful lot of paddling. *-)

And her blindly defending the RCC is a trip UP, or DOWN the river.

Dorito, I'm an avid outdoorsman. I am a lifetime member of the Buckeye Trail Association. For those not knowing, the Buckeye Trail encompasses some 1500 miles around the state of Ohio. I worked on a trail crew and managed about 10 miles of trail between Cleveland and Akron.

I have over 17,000 miles riding a bike. Some weeks, I logged over 200 miles of combined riding and hike miles. I can tell you the distinct difference between hiking or riding uphill, as opposed to hiking or riding downhill. They both have their own difficulties. They use some of the same muscles, while using different ones.

My bike has 21 speeds. I use all of them going uphill. I don't need any of them going down hill. I USE them because I enjoy the cadence. The cadence helps me disconnect with the "problems" of traffic. I usually listen to a walkman(as I enjoy talk radio), to disconnect from traffic.

Anyone who has ever ventured into the woods knows, there is that special, predictable time they disconnect from the "world." There comes that time when they no longer key in on traffic noise, the problems of the "world." They are "in tune" with the solitutide of being with themselves(and, in my case, with G_d).

I've been "down" the Cuyahoga River(in Ohio). The word Cuyahoga, in Indian, means crooked. I can tell you, from the experience of sitting in, so called, courts of law in Cleveland, Ohio, it means crooked.

"Paddling up stream," is not a bad thang. I've been in both canoe and kayak. There is not a thang in this world, in my Christian Walk, I have not been able to "connect" with the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, the Tikvat Israel/The Hope of Israel/The Lord Jesus Christ. He alone is my hope.

You, however, Dorito, remind me of a someone named John. I had and encounter with John, one day, in front of the execution chambers, in Cleveland, Ohio. John was an "officer" for the "rent a cops," keeping watch out front of the killing chambers, called abortion clinics.

John made the statement to me, one Saturday, he was a Christian, a Catholic, who wore a "cross" around his neck. He further stated, "I have to take my cross off daily to do my job."

Dorito, what kind of a testimony is that?
