About an hour later Clara, Chelle and Kaylonie met up and they went bowling before Clara’s date with Romeo.
Aashene- Clara why you seem so distracted? You haven’t made a strike all night
Chelle- Clara ain’t never know how to bowl
Aashene- well she ain’t even knock her usual three pins down
Kaylonie- probably thinking about Olamide

So they headed to the mall and found Aashene a cute lil long black dress with a blue design at the bottom.
Then that night when Jerome came to pick Clara up she came to the door in her housecoat, slippers with her hair flying, holding a cup of tea and a tissue.
Jerome- Clara what’s wrong with you?
Clara- I don’t know …we went out to eat today and I didn’t agree with something
Jerome- is there anything I can do?
Clara- no!! I don’t want you to ruin your night; it will make me feel bad
Jerome- well if your night is ruined so is mine
Clara- naw it doesn’t have to be because my friend Aashene is down and I asked her to got out with you …please go out and have a good time
Jerome- Clara I don’t know about this
Clara- about what?
Jerome- going out with you sick like this
Clara- all I need is a bed and a bucket and I’ll be aiight, you on the other hand need to go out and have yourself a good time NAY NAY …HURRY UP
Aashene came to the door and saw Jerome standing there looking so good and almost blushed to death.
Clara- Jerome this is Aashene, Aashene this is Jerome
They said hi and shake hands.
Clara could tell Jerome was thinking the same thing about Aashene, as she was thinking about him because she thought she saw him drool. After they left she went back in with Chelle and Kaylonie.
Clara- oh Ayesha did I tell you Nelly comin down here in a few days?
Kaylonie- no you didn’t …when you found this out?
Clara- today when I finally had to call him back, him and tha tics coming
Chelle- yeah and I bet Murphy Lee gon be tha only one sleeping in the house
Kaylonie- yeah Clara bout to forget all about Olamide now

This boy is tripping. What makes him think I wanna have sex with him? Okay that was a stupid question Clara. Okay I know I’m not waiting on marriage, even if I was I’m gonna marry Olamide anyway. I know we talked about this before, but we are older now. Maybe I’m wrong for holding out on him all this time. But still I don’t know about this, a lot of stuff is gonna change. Well …I mean …like Betty Wright says, no pain no gain, and all that other stuff like be a cook in the kitchen. Okay let me stop playing. Am I or am I not? Clara kept thinking and figured she needed to call somebody and tell them her plans so maybe they could talk her out of it.

Aashene- WHAT! That’s what you called me for? To talk you out of it? Clara let me break this down for you, this is up to you, don’t let Olamide or anybody else talk you into doing something you don’t want to. If you don’t want to you don’t need anybody to tell you that, and if you feel you’re finally ready then handle your business. You got your own place a job, you seem to make good decisions that deal with your life, don’t let nobody else mess you up. Because you’ve been doing fine so far.

Aashene- of course I do

The Next day after work Clara went to Olamide’s house and waited for him to get off work. She brought an over night bag with her work clothes in it for the next day. She tried to keep her self busy for the two hours she had to wait but she kept finding herself thinking about that night. That’s when she figured that she wanted loosing her virginity to be something spontaneous; she didn’t want it planned out like it was. So she left before Olamide got there. But when he got home he called her.
Olamide- well did you think about it?
Clara- yep
Olamide- so do I get an answer?
Clara- ummm …we’ll just have to see what happens okay
Olamide- so does that mean you’re coming over here tonight or not?
Clara- not!
Olamide- it took you all night to say what you been saying?
Clara- not really, but I gotta go okay (lying) Ayesha’s here and she needs me to go with her to the mall aiight
Olamide- whatever
Clara- I love you, bye (hangs up)
