"You're a match for me up close, but we appear to have some distance between us. If the prince back there," he said, jerking his head at the kneeling figure, "can't dodge the strands, what chance do YOU have? I might be outnumbered, but I'm damn well not beaten."

Putting his sword into its holder, he aimed his cannon at the Knight. "Now, what you're going to do is walk away. Nice and slowly. THEN you're going to get the HELL off this world, and away from me, or by all gods, above and below, I'll send these godamn beams through your FUCKING HEAD!"

With a small grin, Cephis said, "And I DO hope we can finish that duel some day."
