 Send her the Helpful Tips. Obviously the counselor needs to put her emotions out of this and do her job. This is just another enabler to your daughter. Of course your daughter needs love and support, WHEN SHE IS READY TO FACE HER CONSEQUENCES AND STOP BLAMING OTHERS AND TRULY GET IN TO RECOVERY. She cannot even take care of herself, how can she take care of her daughter? Yes she is young and has made lots of mistakes, but she can get it together if she puts hers mind and heart and soul to it. I know it can be done. And about her daughter, I don't know really, that is a hard one because you have given her a good home and her mom is too screwed up right now to even consider that anyways. Take note of all that counselor has said to you and contact her boss. Hopefully her boss didnt teach her all she knows......
