By Jeff Freeland
Oct 5, 2010

No more "hands on" love for inmates at a Bakersfield California prison as visitors hugging and kissing their incarcerated loved ones has been banned by jail officials.
California Prison Bans Visitor Hugging and Kissing.

The reason - prison guards are concerned about contraband being passed as the inmates and visitors are in such close proximity.

The Associated Press reveals that at Sheriff's Deputy spoke with a local news outlet and revealed that "four visitors were found with contraband, including a knife, a handcuff key, marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia."

The officers have now decided no more hugs and kisses.

The report reveals guards who see an inmate give a hug or a smooch will end the visit.

is it true this shitbum resigned as chief steward?
if true i can only imagine what his excuse is, was or will be?
i'm quite certain it was or will not be the truth coming out of his mouth.
biggest bullshit artist i have ever encountered in the doc and believe me i have encountered many and he is the worst.
i have to give him credit for one thing though, he is a better dancer than michael jackson ever was because when Liemon is confronted about his misgivings he does a better moon walk than anyone i ever seen including michael j. the only difference between michael and liemon is michael moonwalked while singing, liemon did it by stuttering (or as roger clemmens would say MISREMEMBERING) or blaming others for blowing things out of proportion such as naming names of his superior officers.
and this liemon guy is supposed to be intelligent? a leader? a training officer?
his true colors came out, a bigtime bullshit artist and phoney.
im glad his ex figured him out enough to dump him but i feel bad she didn't find out before she married this phoney.
talk about complete opposites.

This idiot should be tossed out as a union rep.
He was recently caught in so many lies (aka) Liemon while trying to screw two fellow officers for his own disgrestions.
Ask around and you will know the truth behind all this.

A South Boston real estate agent hopes he’s barking up the wrong tree for suspecting the vicious vandalism of his two vehicles is a warning to muzzle his complaints about a community dog park.

“The only people I have a quarrel with is the South Boston Bark Park,” said Bill Perron, 49, who lives opposite the popular puppy playground on Columbia Road.

He awoke yesterday morning to yawning gashes in the tires of his Jeep Wrangler and Ford F-350 truck, as well as the half-finished threat, “Don’t (expletive) ...” scratched into the Jeep’s door.

Perron, who works from home, objects to what he argues is excessive barking at the year-old, self-managing park and people leaving their pets’ plastic poopie baggies in his yard when they drive away.

“I’m a dog lover,” stressed Perron. “Dogs bark, I understand that. Ideally, I want them to move, but I would be comfortable with a screening barrier that absorbs the sound and to have some kind of enforcement over there. You can’t even open the doors and windows to enjoy the weather because it’s just bark, bark, bark, bark.”

Boston police spokesman officer Eddy Chrispin confirmed Perron filed a report about the vandalism yesterday, expressing his concerns about the Bark Park.

Attorney Peter M. Golemme, who sits on the nonprofit Friends of the South Boston Bark Park board of directors, highly doubts anyone associated with the project would be so catty as to slash tires. He said the board is aware Perron is howling mad, but he seems to be the only one with a bone to pick.

Golemme said the board is trying to work out which law enforcement agency has jurisdiction to issue citations to doggie ne’er-do-wells. He said the park’s rules are “quite reasonable,” but, “Some of them are being disregarded. If this park proves to be an irritant to the community, it won’t last long.

“We’re with (Perron) and I’ve told him that,” Golemme said.

Michelle Ford’s pooch Cooper was playing in the park good as gold yesterday. “It’s a good place to bring him to socialize,” she said. “I know it took a long time for (the park) to come here. I don’t think because one person’s unhappy that everyone should lose out.”
