Date Posted: 23:58:19 04/18/04 Sun In reply to: the man 's message, "Re: Is the Tooheys' Cup Dead?" on 23:07:07 04/18/04 Sun which brings up the question of whether berkeley should be allowed back into first grade next year. They've had a few chances now and have fallen over on each ocassion. They are located very close to Dapto, Wests and Port, and only a stone's throw from wollongong. Word has it that their juniors aren't doing real well either. Should they e allowed back into first grade and chance the depletion of other clubs? Will the roosters throw money into them to the detriment of other clubs? The league is getting stronger as it is with nine mostly competitive teams. Put Berkeley into first grade, and you probably lose that Tooheys New Cup team as well. Leave the Eagles in reserve grade I say. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
