The Acne Support Group in Cyberspace Dermatologists Conversation Room
is a support group and chat area for everyday people with acne to visit, discuss, share treatments, provide support, and move through the stressful event of having acne.
This specific ASGiC room for Dermatologists and Surgeons out there to talk us and share re the kind of treatments out there - we'd like to hear more from you!!
This is one of many of the Acne Support Groups out there, with the hope that armed with enough knowledge and support, there will one day come a time when we will all live in a world where we all have clear, healthy normal skin.
Anyone is welcome to post and share experiences and/or just have a general "bawl" about how you feel etc!

Hi there to all Dermatologists that find the Acne Support Group in Cyberspace through search engines and find your way here (smiles). Welcome!!!

A number of the posters who have acne have suggested to me that they would like to hear more from dermatologists out there for chats about what really works and the *true* stories etc and perhaps you'll also learn a bit more about how it feels to have acne and feel helpless etc ...

Our posters range from those in their early teens to those over 50 and who still have acne, so your *theories* in telling us that we'll grow out of acne isn't true as those in their late 30s, 40s and 50s will tell you!! :-)

Please join us in sharing here as we'd love to have you; including anyone else out there, eg plastic surgeons and/or anyone else in the professional *know how* field who feels that they can help contribute towards easing our pain and suffering and provide us with the knowledge that we all so desperately need.

I know a fair number of doctors/derms(?) have posted on the ASGiC Scar Forum; and thanks for that :-) ... this room is specifically geared so that it's easier to follow and also it means there's more room in the archives for future *sufferers* who are looking to find treatments and make their way here.
