The Acne Support Group in Cyberspace Regimens for Acne Conversation Room
is a support group and chat area for everyday people with acne to visit, discuss, share treatments, provide support, and move through the stressful event of having acne.
This specific ASGiC room is to share and discuss regimen(s) for treating acne.
This is one of many of the Acne Support Groups out there, with the hope that armed with enough knowledge and support, there will one day come a time when we will all live in a world where we all have clear, healthy normal skin.
Anyone is welcome to post and share experiences and/or just have a general "bawl" about how you feel etc!
Good luck to everyone and remember, take what feels right for you, and let the rest go,

I've just been letting everything pass me by , but oh well. What can I say? I've just been hanging out doing nothing, but eh. Basically not much notable going on. My life's been completely dull these days. Not much on my mind lately, but pfft.

My cleansing routine etc -- Just Me, 19:34:45 04/18/04 Sun

Heya all

I promised I'd share my cleansing routine; so here it is:

In no particular, *some* of the products that I use regularly and find beneficial (ie enough to recommend):

Clarins Gentle Facial Peeling
I find Clarins Gentle Facial Peeling great in exfoliating dead skins cells.
Clarins Instant Shine Control
This helps to control shine thou I found that my skin grew conditioned to it, like most; nevertheless it still helps to an extent and makes the skin matt for a few hours and I need to blot less
Clinique Pore Minimiser
This is one of my current favourites as I find it really does have an effect in helping minimising pores
Clinique Anti blemish Pore Minimiser Tzone control
This is great in that it helps to minimise pores and reduces shine (though skin gets used to it eventually but it still helps)
I am still in the process of experimenting more with Clinique products as I find them effective and *reasonable* in price
Potters Skin Clear Ointment for blemishes
I've used Potters Skin Clear for a while now and find it less harsh than all those products with peeled my skin years ago .... I only get spots near my period and the odd acne then so I'm thankful about that!
Potters Skin Clear Lotion
I use this occasionally to cleanse my skin and vary it with others (I experiment) - it's good :-)
Natura Bisse Products I regularly use:
Glyco Peeling (50%) : find this great in exfoliating and helping prevent future breakouts and it seems to have a *bleaching* effect on skin in helping reduce redness from old breakouts
Glyco Balance: find this great in a nightly *exfoliating* gentle effect
Diamond Drops: Very expensive (ouch!) thou this is great to use under make up for a matt look and has a small *lifting* effect on the skin (kinda) - just a smoother look thing. Lasts a long time though as I've had my *bottle* about a year now and only use a drop (I vary with this and Victoria Principal's Continuous Lift which is cheaper though hasn't quite got the same nice smooth effect
Finishing Mask: Find this useful again in having a *bleaching* effect on the skin
Victoria Principal Secrets
I like to use Victoria Principal's Pore Minimiser Mask and also Anti Blemish Lotion under make up

This is just a small sample of what I use that I find useful. I experiment with others as well though nothing to share right now ....

As mentioned in one of the other rooms, ie diet and holistic lifestyle, I find that healing the body mind, body and spirit contributes in reflecting the outer us.

Heya all,

This room is one of the latest new rooms build the past few days and I will kick start this room with my own personal cleansing routine for acne in the next few days as I'll need to go take an inventory etc (grins)!!!

If anyone of you else out there, both male and female, would like to start off, go for it!!!
