The Scenic Delight Stables have decided to go through their books again and get rid of some of our EXTRA horses. Since we have WAY to many to get around to racing them all. We are having a SALE and our horses are selling FAST. The horses that we currently have left are as follows:

2 pairs of Whites

2 pairs of Black & White Pandas

4 pairs of Cows a.k.a. Half Black & Half White Horse

We also have as we like to call it:

Our odd couple which is A Male White with A Female Silver.

All of our horses MUST sell as pairs. Our price is $10.00 for a pair.

We are sorry but we have currently sold out on Double Circle Grays. We will keep all of you updated if we get any more.

OK We finally got a chance to check out the local records board and to be quite honest We really don't think that our records are that bad. We came pretty close to a couple of local records at many dfferent locations. Also here is another one for all of you:

So therefore let's put this another way shall we. That is our newest record. It is only 1 second exactly off the National time so obviously we got a pretty good time then. Also if our records suck then what all of you are saying is that these locations that follows records suck too. Here they are in no paticular order. The worst ranked locations in EVERYONE'S OPINION THEN.

Since you guys are doing so well and breaking all kinds of records, I would like to make a request on behalf of Milpitas, Irvine, Hawaii, and the entire West Coast DOC representatives. Please, help these sorry ass locations break some records! Their records suck! They need help from racers like yourselves. They might also need to buy some of your horses, 'cause they are a bunch of pussies when it comes to entering a REAL tournament. I'm afraid that Bethesda is scaring off all the competition.

I recently played this game for the first time and was very successful. I had a horse win 21 races with 6 G1's. The horse wasn't any superhorse was just very good. I don't claim to really know what I'm doing but everyone was amazed at her. I have since retired her and breed her with another horse that has been very successful. My roommate who got me to play the game for the first time, bought me two horses from ebay that are supposed to be super horses from some x generation. One is very good while the other a deer, although he started out with all the bars above half way is just not nearly as good as the horse that started out from scratch. Could you explain this and please tell me if i am to follow the wipping techniques proved by DOC won't I run out of whip before the race is over? Thank you for your time.

We just wanted to put up a post to try to clear things up a bit. Anyways here goes our attempt at this. OK first off when The Scenic Delight Stables (That's Us) posted their records we never said that our records were Nationals or even any good but the thing is this. They were Local Records at one time and that's all we ever wanted any recognition for. Also we failed to mention that most of those records were taken by the children who race as The Scenic Delight Stables NOT THE ADULTS. So therefore I really think that our children need some Congrats here. I'm sure that some of you will think the same too. Although there may be some of you that think that I am lying through my teeth but I will clear one thing up about that again. Those records or atleast the majority of them were taken by an 6 year old girl, an 6 year old boy and the majority were by an 10 year old girl. Also there are some more of our records that we did not post because we are sick and tired of the criticism and the stupid remarks made to us. Anyways the only records that were taken by adults were the one that we posted a couple of months ago that was at Dave & Buster's in Irvine, CA. We are sorry but we do not remember the track or the time now since unfortunally our old record books were either stolen or lost but we do remember that the horses name that held that record from our stables for a while was: OuT Of CoNtRoL at the time we did not have SDS after our horses names because our stables were not yet established but we do have witnesses that will definally stand up for us and will tell all of you that that was The Scenic Delight Stables Horse. Our other record that was taken by an adult is at Cal-Bowl in Signal Hill, CA. So anyways how about a hand for our fine children who held those records for a while. HUH? OK now on to another thing let's clear this one up now. Shall we? OK the reason that anyone would want to buy any of our horses is this: First off our horses are definally GOOD. I think that we have atleast proved that much already. Secondly our horses are CHEAP and thirdly ALL of our horses that we are selling weither it's our Double Circles or our Specials are atleast 7 Generations old if not more. Now we know that alot of you may have horses for sale that are much older and much better. So you say but we just want people to be able to purchase some GOOD horses from GOOD Bloodlines. That's all. Besides who is it hurting anyways for us to sell our horses? OK now that that's out of the way on to another thing. We do not appreciate being told that we SUCK or that we do not have any knowledge of the game. We have been playing Derby for atleast a year and we feel like we have it pretty much down. We will admit just like ALL of you out there that we do have some more to learn since let it be known but nobody and we do mean nobody can ever fully conquer a game. That will just never happen. OK now that that's out of the way how about we answer some questions that people have asked us here. OK first off Where do we race out of? Well The Scenic Delight Stables races out of different locations in California. Those locations are as follows: Dave & Buster's in Irvine,CA. , Dave & Buster's in Orange,CA. , Dave & Buster's in Ontario,CA. , Cal-Bowl in Signal Hill,CA. and we are going soon to race out of San Diego,CA. So hopefully that has cleared that up. OK as far as the members go of The Scenic Delight Stables. I am not going to use names but yes there are 7 of us. There is a Man who is in his 30s, 2 Women who are in their 20s, A Man who is in his 20s, A young girl who is 6 years old, A young boy who is 6 years old, and a girl who is 10 years old. Also believe it or not MY parents want to join us and 2 cousins want in. So that will bring our Grand Total up to 11 of us in The Scenic Delight Stables altogether. WOW that is alot of us. WOW. but all of us get along and we all definally have fun racing so that's all that matters. RIGHT? Anyways we guess that that's it for now. We guess we have cleared everything up. If there's anything else that anyone wants to know about us. PLease let us know. Oh by the way we want to apologize if we have ever offended any one on here or while racing. This was done with a 15 race Front Runner Dirt Horse out of the #8 Box. The track condition was Sunny and Good.

Eastern City Turf 2000 meters
Horse's name is: Dark Chocolate SDS

Hey i've been playin for a little while now and was just lookin for some advice... im ettin hiher up in the enerations now and i cant seem to be dominant. I wanted to know if i have really decent turf horses and just startin a dirt line. Should i mix the turf with the dirts to help them out? I have a condor pasa and butter popcorn mix that I mated with a bullion and double circle that i have...should i keep mixin them with my better turf horses or not? how can i make both of my lines better...also...it seems that I am not advancin past where I am...I have been Gettin the 50.1% and G1 wins but its not proGressinG...any comments?

I never post here, but I do read these boards regularly. I've been a DOCWE addict since the first time I played, win or lose...I always have a blast. I used to love coming here to read the records set at other locations, and the terrific tips. Recently though this board has become nothing but advertisments and insults, what a loss to the gaming community.

If you don't like someone...don't talk to them. If you have sales to make, announce them once and don't clog up the boards. We are all adults here...I wish everyone could go back to behaving that way.

I need some advise, I'm new to this game and don't know really what to do now so any input would be great.

I have a horse that has 22 races and 17 wins with 4 grade 1 wins.

I really don't know much about the sp st sr thing, i never see it come up, so i was wondering is it possible to breed with two horses that are created or do i have to breed with on computer horse each time.

How long should I race the current horse I have and what should my next step be to create a horse thats even better?

Hello everyone well i guess that we have a new machine in Roxboro, NC. It is located at Palace Pointe. I think that I am a newbie by looking at everyone elses post. I just wanted to say that this is great game, but i have a few questions to ask. The whole internal ablitity thing what helps other than winning the 7+ g-1s? does it hurt your horse to win more than 7? about how many generations of horse does it take to get speacial horse? does it make your horse better if you interbreed between horses? if i have a zebra horse thats 5 generations and breed it with a double bulleye horse will that help in the long run? i know thats a lot of questions sorry. thanks for any help

Ok...here's a little story of a little boy named Tony who played this little game called Derby Owners Club.

One day Tony came across a good line and heard it would run good dirt. So he built up his line using tb/bp.

Tony was a real good racer for the most part, and thru the beginning stages of this game. Today this is not the case since he is just about average to say the least.

Tony traveled from city to city to play wherever they had DOC and became famous. Everyone liked him then. his job would even pay for him to race while he was away. So He tried to get as much away time as he could.

On the road he encountered many nice people and traded some secrets and horses with them. On one particular visit to NY he met Kevin and Richie who were known as daRK Stables.

He had lots of fun racing with them even tho they were beneath his caliber of play. He even said Richie was a friend on the Chicago website once..(LOL how ironic)

His partner saw a post one day of Kevin's and wanted to know if anyone was interested in trading advanced breeds. So Kev jumped at the idea of owning the Famous DHR line. So on his next trip Tony brought some horses and let Kev breed. and in return Kev gave him SH/HH at 5th gen. Congrats! (u will notice he now sells this horse from his site!! and he calls people who sell his line unscrupulous? this is a quote form his ebay auction..LOL quote "MANY people will try and re-sell DHR horses. Dont allow unscrupulous people make money off my hard work and efforts. ONLY accept PURE AND ORIGINAL DHR HORSES!" end quote)

Anyway..moving along..daRK Stables happens to land on another BIG find and breed male and female of TB/FF. WOW...we reported how great they ran and guess what? Tony comes back to NY and literally BEGS to let him breed from our line. He offers the "latest" gen from his line which he wasnt even sure what that was...but it had some breed backs to TB he said. the symbols were OOXAOO. I said...fine...we r friends so lets trade...even tho we already had his original line...We felt good with trading with him. So he acquired our 2nd line! Note his comment from his ebay auction again...MANY people will try and re-sell DHR horses. Dont allow unscrupulous people make money off my hard work and efforts. ONLY accept PURE AND ORIGINAL DHR HORSES!!!! LOL

this gets better....So one day he is in NY and he says to Richie he will start to sell his horses after he wins the next tourny he races in...Good for u I says! Good luck...one thing u might want to do is take some pic's of ur horses to prove how deep u r. He doesnt listen and says it would take too much time, and his word should speak for him and all his records. Ok i said. I wanted to know what gen he was really selling since He had SOOO many females with the same name QVC and lots of Double named Male horses....WHO COULD KEEP TRACK OF THAT?

After reselling BOTH OF daRK Stables LINES!!! and basically making himself look like a complete IDIOT...now he says cosmo ran great due to the horses he bought from him....its too FUNNY! But in all actuality...he bought MY HORSES! from u TONY..LOL

Now i think its great cosmo did well...it says alot about the quality of my horses....But anyway...I will let my horses do the speaking for themselves when Tony gets here..

and Tony...i didnt post how i did...but since we r on the subject...I finished 1st 3 times 2nd 3 times and 3rd twice.

not too shabby..i think i woulda definitely advanced to the next round...LOL

I don't usually post here(I did when I have questions), but I do a lot of reading since I am not that the expert and want to know more tricks. But recently, I found this forum sucks.... I don't mean that the forum itself not good, but too many ppl just agree here instead of discussing DOC stuff.

This is a place for people to know more abt this game, and nota place for "war". Many people's useful questions got the bottom of the forum, since you guys just complaining abt each other.

I you want to proof that you are good at this game, tell and share something that ppl don't know in this game, some helpful tips. Instead of saying "it sucks, don't do it", give it a deep explaination the way you did, and ppl might understand.

- You can breed any horse to any horse. As long as they are male and female and both horses are retired from racing. YOU CAN RETIRE YOUR ORIGINAL HORSE AFTER 20 races or more. P.S. It is actually good to breed a brother and a sister horse together. That way you continue with the bloodline. Also it is best to retire after 20 races. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!
