Almond backs through the front door pulling a wheeled cart with a huge cake balanced precariously on it. Three layers of scrumptious fun blazing with candles! Scrawled across the top in blue icing is:
Happy Birthday Dogtrot!
Placing the cake on the counter, she begins to lay out plates, napkins and forks. Just as she finishes her display, a beeping noise is heard. The candles have set off the smoke alarm! Water begins to fall from the ceiling as the automatic sprinkler system cuts in.....

Sorry about that, Dogtrot! Have some anyway? *g* You are going to tell us all about your fun day, right?

Lots of long-overdue responses to make, now that we're up and running again. That will have to wait a bit, though. We're taking daughter to the doctor this morning, so I need to get dressed. A couple of quick things for now:

Gothic: Thank you for the pictures of the nephews. They're adorable! According to Rack's "tips page", to post a picture the code is:

Just use < > instead of [ ]. I've never tried it, though. I'm not sure if the Magic Box will support pictures as big as the ones you sent me.
