Well, I as-good-as did a rain dance - I hung some washing out to dry.

dogtrot, fire, Rack, Tarasapp, everyone else *waves*, kudos, knowing winks and big cheesy grins all round!

I'm off with Mr L and the cublets to see a recreation of a battle between the parlimentarians and the royalists - allegedly 10,000 (probably more like 20 and a donkey)people in faux leather jerkins, wielding real plastic swords and battleaxes and shouting things like "halt" and "thou" and "verily I sayest". I'm expecting something along the lines of a "Charmed" time travel episode. I just hope they don't smell authentic.
