Susan,

Thank you for your suggestion! I have tried all 3 to aleviate my cramps...all to no avail :( My stomach cannot handle ANY magnesium supplement at all (not even in an antacid), and the potassium drink made me vomit for hours. I can ONLY drink fluids with sodium in them...go figure. I have a stomach condition called small bowel dysmotility, which basically means my small bowel moves too slowly, so I have to follow a VERY strict diet, which is what I call the "anti-diet" LOL...it means that I cannot eat the "healthy" carbs, only the refined ones ie White is Right LOL. I eat VERY low fat/low fiber foods, no roughage at all...only fruits/veggies that are cooked WAY down and have NO skin or seeds. Sounds weird, I know...but it is the only way I can eat without being nauseas and vomiting :-P I think that is why I spasm so badly...I just can't get in enough of the right minerals. LUCKILY now that I am stable most of the time, I only have to worry about the wicked spasms for a few days when I first lower my dose of pred.

I hope you are having a wonderful day!! Much love/hugs!!

Ivy
