so it looks like i am getting my braces off on aug 11th!!
total treatment time of 28months

ortho said 24/7 upper and lower hawley retainers for 6-8 months then half time for ever.

this date of the 11th gets me out of my braces before my 3 week vacation whcih makes me happy, but the way the office is open etc.. i wont get my retainers untill monday the 16th at 4pm

they usually have the retainers in 2 days, but with the office being closed that friday i have to wait till monday.

so i guess im concerned that the teeth will move back a lot over the 6 days?

should i keep the braces on a extra month and get them off when i can get the retainer in 2 days?

im just concerned casue the office manager really stressed teh importance of absoulute 24/7 wear for the firstr 6 months!
so isnt it really important not to go the first 6 days without ?
