Date Posted: Mon, Feb 23 2009, 10:08:26 In reply to: Sean 's message, "Rule changes coming" on Fri, Feb 20 2009, 23:50:00 Any changes to the convenants likely requires approval from all homeowners. Unfortunately, I don't share others' interest in seeing the rule change, although lax enforcement of our covenants has created this problem. While many cite concern about their kids shooting ball at the common area courts, which is understandable, having them out playing in the street risks something tragic happening. I'm prepared for lash-back on my comments here, but these temporary goals strewn along the streets makes our neighborhood look cluttered. Many of the goals stand there unused as the kids have outgrown or lost interest in them, but no one takes the initiative to store them in the garage or get them out of sight, even if only for the winter months. My position could represent the silent majority on this issue, so if the covenants come to a vote on this rule change and the amendment fails, what then?
