Date Posted: Wed, Sep 02 2009, 7:58:14 In reply to: John 's message, "Numbers are not right." on Wed, Sep 02 2009, 6:49:37 How are my numbers wrong, and why are you using the August '08 budget to show it is wrong? I'm not guite understanding. I pulled the budget #'s from the january 09 newsletter for the '08 security totals and from the latest newsletter for this years budget #'s. I double checked, and I don't think I got any of the numbers I pointed out incorrect. I was not intending to show the whole budget, was just pointing out some #'s to show the amount spent towards security in relation to some other SMALL ticket items. If you include larger ticket items, like groundskeeping, it emphasizes the point even more. i.e., we spend ~12x amount keeping our grass looking nice ($50K budget for groundscare in '09) then we spent last year protecting our property with security ($4200). The fact that the security guard we hired only came every now and then, and we only spent $4200 for the entire summer, is the point I'm trying to make. Why don't we make a real investment and do it right? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
