Regarding the second paragraph. Biometric applications as we know are used in conjunction with EMV or Epurse transactions on the net or simply as ID, or on the phone or over the counter or simply on its own providing secure access to specific areas. It is illogical, nonsensical, to suggest that scards will be taken over by biometrics.Biometric applications promote scards superiority compared to magnetic stripe.It is a fundamental reason why scards are being mass deployed and why the majors such as Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Europay insist on compliance. Proton has a number of biometric applications applicable to Prisma due to its alliance with Keyware. Sabre then goes on to say; "so as long as you are not in this one for 5 years or so" So ERG is going to last 5 years? "Beware of companies that actualy believe in what they are doing" Is this guy for real?? He then attempts to tackle ERG's fundamentals with the same astonishing ignorance.
