Generally the trend has been for an interest in smart card related stocks. Huge trades on ERG after the Washington contract win. Canny investors onto ERGG. Many are no doubt in wait and see mode. I know I am. But take a look at Intellect IHG and Keycorp KYC. Both have risen substantially since the new year. And so they should. Both are proven companies with solid lists of clients. Both stand in very strong positions as financial institutions around the globe adopt EMV standards. But hey these stocks number their share issues in the many hundreds of millions. Now CAT's price may seem a bit daunting for small investors but with only 8-9 million on issue and a central place in the rollout of a globally important technology, I know where I'd most want to be.
