As a Miss America and a long-time contestant in the Miss America Organization, KUDOS to you ladies for standing up! A member of our MA 2013 Class posted this thread in our Facebook group and I am so happy to see all of you sticking together. Sadly, it's usually not the young women that compete for MAO that are the "catty" ones, it's the outsiders who give us a bad name. As someone who watched her entire year be picked apart (or praised!) on the national voy board, I can say that NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY, EVERY GIRL READS THE BOARDS. If you wouldn't want someone to "say" something that you are typing about your own daughter, do think four times before posting it online. These girls are right...this message board is often used as a means of bullying; people saying things they would NEVER say to our faces.
