She was an INCREDIBLE Miss CA from great social media skills, to her beautiful talent, to her warm, approachable and kind personality she really has it all. In a lot of ways I think Leah is the backbone of this whole movement of unity within our Miss CA 2013 class. Her leadership inspired each and every one of us to respect each other and treat each other like a family. She was so much fun and I wish her the best of luck in everything she does. I felt so special. She took the time to memorize each and every contestants name and photo and she donated to every single state contestant's CMN page. That is how much she cared, not only about each girl, but about the image of the Miss California Organization as a whole. As I've gotten to know Leah, I have just grown to like her even more. That moment that you heard me sing my talent song and yelled "YESSS girl" when I played it for you in the car was a reassurance that truly helped me perform at my bestt!! You have been a wonderful friend even before you became famous! ;) I really didn't get a chance to know you until you became a part of the San Diego/SoCal family, but I am so glad that they brought us together! You were such a wonderful Miss CA who truly cared about your sisters. We have had so many wonderful moments together from driving through snow in Gorman, to hiking in the dark avoiding buffalo poop in Catalina, to nearly getting ran over by bicyclists in Idyllwild!
