] Date Posted: 11:03:02 01/30/14 Thu I deleted the post about the San Diego pageant and their judging issues, as well as the comments about the field director Kathi Baldwin, and her alleged feud with someone named Kathi Hikawa. Look, I don't take sides - especially when I don't know the people. The only Kathy's I know are Kathy Bates (the actress), Kathy Griffin (the stand-up), Kathy Najimy (another actress), my cousin Kathy (recently retired, did something financial), and the girl who let me cheat off her in Russian class freshman year in college so I wouldn't flunk. Oh, and ex-model turned bedding and lamp designer Kathy Ireland. I would hope that the adults on this board can learn a thing or two or ten from the contestants who have been posting recently. Kudos to these young women for being willing to express themselves SANS ANONYMITY and to support each other unconditionally. The worth of this program, which I hold very dear, has just skyrocketed by the words and deeds of these young ladies, and I would like to add my praise to Leah Cecil Tibbetts for doing something magical to create the atmosphere that allowed and encouraged the class of 2013 to bond so closely with each other, and to Katie Wayland for having the guts to express herself forthrightly in a mature manner that didn't needlessly offend people. Please learn from them. They have much to teach. I check this board at least once a day in most cases, and sometimes several times a day. But work and real life occasionally intrude and some posts pop up and get out of hand pretty quickly. I can't sit and watch this 24/7, nor should I have to. Please clean up your acts.
