[> Subject: Now THIS is my kind of pageant. I'm very excited to meet the class of '13 and see them on stage. I 've had a hunch for quite some time that this is going to be a very special group, and so far, they have lived up to that hunch. They seem to be extraordinarily friendly and helpful to each other as they prepare, and they all seem to be working really hard to be their very best once they hit Fresno. And they're having a lot of fun along the way. Go Cali girls!

[> [> Subject: I agree with you Ernie and I think a lot of that friendliness is due to the tone Leah has set. She has encouraged us to rise above the typical pageant girl attitude. As a contestant I really look forward to next week and the fun we'll have.

I think there is a whole lot to be said about setting the tone: Our Leah has dedicated herself to nurturing and caring for the Class of 2013. She is showing the true spirit of pageantry and I think the experience will be wonderful for the girls.

She is OUR Leah and a debt of gratitude to her raising the bar of titleholders with a sense of duty to sisterhood, support, and leadership. What an amazing example she has been to our girls!
