From what I hear the teen has to pay to go to Miss America. I also believe it was during the transition between Mary and Kati. Grace missed two events, big events I might add but she was there for everything else. Dana did a great job filling in for Grace during pageant week and kudos to the beautiful young lady for stepping up. Grace was however around all year and let's not forget she did place well at MAOT and attend appearances.
