Um, I have something to say...
>Evolution is science, Creationism is mythology. Hovind
>uses strawman arguments, they're logical fallacies, if
>you're ignorant of science they may make sense.
I'm sorry you believe that, fellow. Have you ever read the Case for books by Lee Strobel? It gave me some insight on where evolution stands. Investigate the evidence of your own faith, Paul. Don't bash Tom's and mine until then.
>You've been listening to hovind too much, this isn't
>evolution.
I've never listened to Hovind, and you do have a point there. I actually read the textbooks in school before we work in them. Tom's wrong about evolution. BUT:
I happen to be a former Atheist led to Christ by two things: deeper investigation of evolution, and an experience like you wouldn't believe just last year. Eat your own words.
>Again, not evolution.
No, but you forget that many Christians have a generalized and incorrect view of evolution. I, however, learned great things by reading Strobel's Case for A Creator. I gained greater insight on what the dev'l evolution is about (I missed those two weeks because of a broken tailbone), and saw how false it is.
>You may wish to look up what evolution is before
>critizing this strawman version you creationists dream
>up.
He should, but don't generalize the theory we develop. I developed the correct version, and I have come to find how false it truly is.
>Already happens in mutations. Although its not true
>new genetic material has to be written to the DNA.
That's exactly right! You're one smart cookie! You've studied your stuff like a good atheist. But so have I.
>So you rather cling to a god of gaps? It answers all
>your questions as long as you don't think too much
>about it.
No. That's where you're wrong. Your view toward Christianity is warped, distorted. There are no gaps, it's just hard to see the thin line of balance hidden within the truths of this world!
>And ignorance at the same time.
You keep thinking that. I'll see you in your fate, but I won't join you.
>You haven't even started, rather you've done what most
>other anti-science creationists do, spewing
>misconceptions.
He needs to read Lee Strobel's books. So do you!
>Sorry, false dilemma. Fallacies aren't that convincing.
Perhaps. But I have walked both roads. Satan truly is a tricksy one.
>You might want to try a scientific site.
Give the name of one, Paul.
Your name is Biblical, you know!
