I bought an M-4 style AR-15 yesterday, pretty nice rifle. I field stripped it at the gun dealers and it was obvious that the previous owner did not know how to properly clean it. I spent most of yesterday cleaning the bolt assembly (the bore was pretty clean but once I took the bolt apart it was clear that it hadn't been touched). The rifle is in good shape with very little wear and tear.

The under-barrel launcher (it isn't a 203 as it is meant for 37mm smoke or flare rounds and a 203 is a 40mm grenade launcher) was a custom mount, and they cut part of the hand guard away. I don't plan on using it much, so I'm going to take it off and order some new hand guards. Anyone know a good site to order parts from? I found a place called cavalryarms.com and it looks pretty good. I've generally been able to purchase gun accessories from gun stores or gun shows, but given my current location these things are hard to find (there are lots of guns, but mainly for hunting).

What about bulk ammo? I found it pretty cheap at some sites, but I've heard the shipping charges are attrocious because of the fact they have to pay a bunch extra to ship explosive items... So unless I by thousands of rounds it might not make sense.
