New meanings of the colors, indeed, but they do make sense. I LOVE candles as well. And you know what, I respect them. Sounds weird, but I�ve been always afraid of fire. (maybe I was burned as a witch in a past life?*g*) It�s destructive and can do so much harm. Having it in my home on a table, only a single flame which behaves nicely, is like having tamed the power of it, more than that, it`s like the spirit of the fire gives me the honor to enjoy its beauty without any harm. Maybe this is why it has been used for rituals for ages, because people respected the restrained power it holds, using that power for their intentions. -- Spirit World
