I believe we have to forget all that in order to start unaffected all over. If we would know what we want to learn, we would hurry up to do that, and then… what? Leaving earth again? We would miss on a lot of experiences along the path. And how would you do that anyway? Going to your former mother (for example), telling her: “Hey, in our past life you were my father and beat me up. I just wanna tell you I forgive you now.” And then it´s all done?

No, I´d rather think if we do that without our knowledge, it´s more heartfelt and genuine. New situations arise, and we don´t know what we “have” to do, we just act unaffected and free of the karma-burden.

I don´t think we have to learn from former mistakes. What we do is developing, becoming more whole, getting in tune with the source. You could consider this learning though. But it´s not the biblic “ an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” thing what karma is about. I think it´s more complicated than that, and at the same time more simple. It is often all in ourselves, and has nothing to do with other people.

If you still feel abandoned, it doesn´t HAVE to have anything to do with your mother or a past life! She could have been just a “tool”, a mirror for you, and there is not even karma between the both of you. The feeling of being rejected could be your personal subject for more than 2 lives already. There are methods to find that out and get rid of that.

It is always on US to find blockades, old hurts, and deal with them. Doing something good or bad in return to the involved other person doesn´t make things even. You would still be hurt. It is on you to HEAL that old hurt.

That´s a complicated subject, maybe we should email each other about that?*g* I have learned a lot about those things (dealing with old wounds) with doing kineosology.

[> I think that humans have a habit of taking very simple ideas and making them very complicated. Like the idea of karma for example. I believe it is simply that all actions have consequences. It is well known that humans have Free Will to create as they see fit. Karma is the balance for that, so that we have some kind of shape to the game of choice. Consequences are different from rewards and punishments, though. A consequence is simply a result, yet the others involve a judgement. Since we have permission to use our free will, then it should follow that we would not be punished for it, and so not rewarded either. It just IS. -- Lissa, 11:58:19 09/05/03 Fri

[> [> One description I read in a Near Death Experience book about judgement day was that a kindly Being would gently ask, "So, how do you think you did?" after you instantaneously re-experienced your whole life along with feeling what affect it had on those you had contact with. The judgement comes from ourselves! And also, for the reincarnation end of our experience, we cannot be forced to do this or that, but what I think is that what looks like a good idea in the Love and safety of pre-life-on-earth heaven, may look a heck of a lot harder once here in the world of dense form. But souls keep coming back because it is such a good opportunity for learning, especially if you like learning on the fast track. Or so I have heard. *G* -- Lissa, 11:59:46 09/05/03 Fri

[> [> [> It's our own Judgements that put us in Heaven or Hell, a feeling of peace or anxiety. What we "experience" is determined by how we choose to see it, and our perspective of things is what determines what we see. It's like wearing different kinds of eyeglasses, or sitting in a theater and having different views of the same play. Our perspective determines our judgement, and our judgement makes us feel either happy or sad, either like we are in heaven or in hell. The middle way that is talked about in all religions is the way of no judgement.... me, you, each person having no judgement. Am I making any sense? Or have I just rambled on again? hahaha -- Lissa, 12:14:04 09/05/03 Fri
