Only using a list since I don't have a more presentable quote function available.

1. "knowingly invoke the wrath of Heywood"

Let's assume I am the troll. (I attest that I am not, and, if possible, will gladly vouch for IP signatures.) What would I care if Heywood is pissed off or not? What's he going to do, talk me to death? Because that's what the purpose of flaming is: insult someone in the expectation that they will be affected by the words on the screen. While such verbal abuse might be highly effective in-person or even via sound recording, words on a screen are easily switched off. (Generalization: surfing the Internet automatically reduces your attention span, at least temporarily.)

In fact, I uphold that even if not a troll. Aside from the above, who is Heywood and how important is he that "invoking his wrath" would be detrimental to me? I won't list here (i.e., in one comprehensive list) the personal details he has divulged about himself in various separate forms, but I will say that he does not have, at present, the logistics to assassinate anyone in real-life, or anyone outside of his hometown, at the very least. If we are talking about importance on GAFF, he's just another member, like you and me. Ultimately, the only truly important (or true) GAFFer that I see is The Site Guru. We're all just fans, at least for the moment (i.e., until the GAFF Team allows us to submit stuff for official use on the site).

2. "why do it so clumsily?"

To make it obvious that it's not a serious troll.

>and thanks, MK and Non-Sock Puppet for filling my head
>with big words. *Shakes head* get out, get out!

Any time. ;) I've had my fill of pedantic vocabulary. Besides, I decided to stock up early (on long words) so I wouldn't have to use too many of them in the near future.
