Subject: It doesn't work like that though does it? Players, agents and clubs are all engaged in a process of price setting in an opaque market. That means no one actually knows what the "correct" price is. Its set via a process of offers and counters between club and player, taking into account what others are willing to pay. For Tete this is the last big chance to cash in. He's incentivized to play clubs off on another to maximize his contract. No matter what we opened with, he'd still do it.
