My similar policy lapsed the other day, when I lost patience with him being patronising and had a go back. But regretted and not to be repeated. Engage on the topic of the player on the pitch only, which is too important a topic to have out of bounds through fear it will be hijacked. So the right thing to do, plus hi-jack chances lessen if bear-prodding ceases, agreed.
