Subject: I took the post on goal contributions to refer to his all-round play. While the stat could mislead as minutes aren't factored in, if you look at his non-goal contribution stats as %age or per/90 he clearly has been inferior to Raul both in possession (passing, holding onto the ball, dribbling) and the press (e.g. tackles, interceptions). That's the key question with him. If he hasn't improved there he could be an absolute goal machine but still not command huge fees or demand a starting spot
