    • I'm absolutely no expert, but interestingly if you put that into google, its says the opposite - that 7's is more likely to damage the surface 'faster, more dynamic play leading to more running and tackling can lead to faster detoriation due to the sheer volume of play'.       • I asked my AI assistant: the reply was the full XV rugby would be worse for the pitch - more players, more intensity and volume for scrums and rucks, longer matches (although I am guessing each event would have more than one match).
