Subject: Yes, I find it an odd criticism of the owners that their "only" ambition is to make us a club that every year is midtable. Puts our name in the hat, year on year, and allows us to grow alongside other top-tier clubs with such a record: (e.g. Everton, West Ham, Villa). Imagine if we'd never dropped out of the league when the bought us and we were looking at 25 years of uninterrupted mid-table mediocrity! Our revenues would've grown considerably and we might have had a cup or Euro year or two.
