Subject: The answer to your first point is that people increasingly don't because it's easy to find the prejudice that matches and enforces yours. A major modern evil IMO. The Guardian is a proper newspaper that doesn't deserve the insults of right wingers who probably don't read it. The news is essentially unbiased and separate from the opinion pieces which are usually but not always left leaning.
