• I thought the club didn’t care about the fans and the likes of AM just ignored them and their concerns? Surely any reasonable, and the vast majority, of fans would understand sometimes as a mid prem club you have to sell a player due FFP and to strengthen elsewhere, even if they are a fan favourite. I don’t get how FFC or XY media company aren’t open to being sued for defamation if they’ve made something so specific up.   • Because, as has been explained, the club would be leaking those things specifically. How can the club sue, when the club are the source.     • No the individual could sue, why wouldn’t mitrovic sue FFC for defamation? It’s been specifically reported he told his family he wont play for FFC again, if that came from FFC it’s blatant defamation. What is the one time they’ve factually done this? I just don’t see why a club who ignores supporters groups, doesn’t care about legacy fans at all (or so I’m told) but then is releasing potentially libellous stories to appease those same fans.       • because its all agreed with the player. The player gets to move, gets a loyalty bonus, whatever. Its not done without any party not agreeing. Absolutely your perogative not to believe me, that this happens, but this back and forth is becoming pointless now.       • And as per the Mitrovic comment - he LITERALLY did play for the club again - after those comments were reported. So he either did a complete about face, then the club decided to sell anyway (for less than they'd apparently turned down!), or something wasn't quite what it was being made out to be all along.   • And to your point 'vast majority of fans would....' - i used to be this blissfully naiive too. I used to assume that because i don't find FFP/SCR etc complex, but in reality, its not the case at all. LOADS don't get it. People still moan we haven't spent the Palhinha/Mitrovic money. People think we're going into every summer able to spend £200m+ People don't get that we're still spending money on the amortisation of (for instance) Iwobi's transfer fee.     • Many are dumb then, it’s not a PSR thing, pre and during PSR, FFC and 99% of other football clubs you have to sell to buy, if Liv, City and Arsenal sell in order to meet financial needs then how can anyone with any sort of intelligence not understand that Fulham have to. If PSR didn’t exist we’d still sell players. Maybe I’m just being very tolerant, but how can anyone with a straight face and brain sell see how much our rivals sell and genuinely get angry when we sell the odd player.       • Because fans are emotive, and a lot haven't really grown up with the finances being relevant. How many times have you seen people say 'its not your money who cares how they spend it' and the like.         • I've no knowledge of veracity or source of media reporting in the build up to Mitro's departure so I make no judgement on it. There were things I saw with my own eyes which made me uncomfortable towards the end - & it didn't help when he went down in the box as if he had been shot followed by close-ups showing no apparent contact. If I am wrong, well I apologize. Nonetheless, a wonderful striker for us including adding almost playmaking contributions as he went into midfield.to fetch the ball.
