Subject: What really, really, really, really annoyed me yesterday

Was that last 20 minutes. It was like absolutely no one even considered that we might get into europe - let alone been notified by the bench that all of the results were going our way and a winner would possibly make us favourites for a place.

There was absolutely no urgency, whatosever. Just the same passing it around the backline - restarting with those pathetic short goal kicks, no rushing to get the ball back into play, nothing. It was absolutely baffling. It should have been a 'both centrebacks up top, long balls, keepers up for corners' last 5 minutes, but we kept on playing in the same, sterile, limp-dicked way. No shouting and hollering from the touchline, telling the players to pile forward.

A thoroughly predictable situation, of course, but once again, i left the ground furious. I can't get my head around the attitude at all, whether the players who surely must want the chance of playing in europe, or the coach, who, stay or leave (hopefully the latter) refuses to actually manage a match 'in-game'.

Our total wage bill is about 160m. Paying Silva the equivalent of 5% of that would be absolutely criminal. Please just let him go and bring in someone else who doesn't think he's better than us, Mr Khan.
