  • I mean you're just throwing out statistics that are just plain wrong. Our net transfer spend over the last 4 seasons is higher than a third of the teams and comparable with another 3 or 4. We've also spent more on salaries than half the league. He's been backed better than any manager in our history.   • He’s been generously backed with funds and in his choice of player , but how about a System that identifies talent which he can further improve and for far less than the fees thus far spent . There are more ways of backing than just supplying funds to whoever your Manager fancies . Maybe Silva likes the freedom because he knows the Club won’t come up with any alternatives . £8 million ( allegedly ) to allow the same set up to continue!!!
