Personality aspects of the owner, DoF or Head Coach hardly matter when related to the interests of FFC. Previous to MS, Shad was less than successful with the many choices made for managing the club or attracting talent.

Over the passing of time, final day of window signings may or may not prove to be good business. Importantly, it is a form of temporary appeasing head coach requirements.

Any owner is likely to view delegated transactions made on behalf of the club with one eye looking out for skullduggery. Hence a DoF much more interested in wrestling and complying with parental direction to retain good relations with the MS.

Above is my take on events and may well be erratic. However, if the risky stance MS is taking after 40 odd points banked can be interpreted as looking after the best on pitch interests of FFC, good on you Mr. Silva.
