  • Whilst I completely take your point, we must not forget that, when our Owners appointed Marco, it would be fair to say that many of us were not greatly impressed. I can remember that this board was full of posts saying it was the wrong choice and even if he managed to get us promoted, his previous appointments proved that he was not up to managing a premier league club or would show us any loyalty and just use us to get a better job.   • Worst case, I think, is him staying on reluctantly having failed to get a job he really wanted. Taking his money and going through the motions. We need a manager who will regard FFC as an upgrade and opportunity to advance his career. Keep a disgruntled Silva and next season will be just like this but even less effective. • We should remember that although us fans would love some clarity asap, he has not broken his contract, which I believe does ends on 30th June, so surely it is his absolute right to either accept, or reject, any new contract offered by the Club at any time before that. However, if the Club have offered him a new contract, with a clause that he has to accept it by a certain date then that is something quite different and maybe that is why he has said that he will decide next week.
