  • Transfer market is ropey at best, even if it was sensible I’d suggest primary reason we have lower squad value isn’t an inferior squad, it’s because we have a lot of older players wirh minimal resale, whereas someone like B.mouth or palace have more in the low 20s age bracket worth 60m+ and wirh great resale possibility. As Joe says, wages far more accurate picture, we have finished almost bang on with that metric for last 3 years, hence I conclude silva is a good but not great coach.   • It would seem to me that, maybe, one of the reasons that our squad value is so low is that there are less players in it than almost all the other teams but having Tom, Raul and Lecomte, each 35 as well as Leno at 34, all with minimal sell on value, does not help.
