    • Yes agreed. He's good and tough. No he's not a great "footballer" if by that GA means good, technical player. But we've more than enough of those. We need some bastards and some strong, tough guys to balance out all the little, technical players. I'd absolutely love him for us. But clearly will never happen. • Spence is known to be about the best defensive full back in the league 1v1, but he ain’t gonna offer a lot going forward. The other 2 are more of the same, old, very high wage no resale value players who will kill our SCR position, time to move on from that strategy. Spurs wouldn’t let them go but players like Bergval or Tel or Odobert are more where I’d like us to go, young, chance to become worth a lot of money and motivated to get better.   • Yeah, Spence is exactly what we need if we continue with Andersen. I think the last few weeks have shown us that Castagne is really quite good if allowed to be the attacking full-back he is, but cannot defensively make up for Andersen's weaknesses as the third CB in possession. Spence would be great in that role. The other two are only with the right price and only a bit of a fun thought experiment as none are likely.   • Does not fit age profile but Wan Bissaka is a solid right back. He could be a bargain price still got a few decent seasons in him if played at right back like Spence.
