Subject: Mine too. He's exactly what we need if you ask me. We have enough little, tricky guys. Add Richarlison either through the middle, or ideally (for me) in a wide forward role and we'd be a lot harder to deal with. I don't care about his age or resale value. He's just what we need.

  • Someone who’s 30 next season, on 100k+ a week and who’s played 100 games in 4 seasons at spurs ie he’s missed about 55/60 games last 4 years. I find this want to keep signing these older already peaked players interesting, we haven't improved in 3 years, we keep failing at the end of the season, we have new rules which really restrict spending and wages, yet we should just keep doing the same thing again and again. • Brighton's signing of the season: Pascal Gross (age 34, 90k pw). Sunderland's signing of the season: Granit Xhaka (age 33, 110k pw). See also Brentford and Jordan Henderson (age 35, 75k pw). These are all clubs you've wanted us to emulate or wished we did as well as. There are many ways to build a squad and find value. (NT) -- eganonoa, Tuesday, May 26, 08:02:40pm (NoHost/185.98.170.36)
