  • I was under the impression it was because Palarce sold players against his wishes, like Anderson, Eze and Guehi and most importantly the timing of these transfers. I might be wrong, but the only time I can remember this happening to Silva (as in the timing of the transfer) was with Mitrovic and that was player driven.     • This is the most under-recognized part of what happened the last few years. Everyone is obsessed with the amount of outlay without looking at net spend or the retention of key assets. Glasner had an extremely thin squad (solid 1st 11) that was hammered by losses of key players. While we aren't in Europe and aren't the major step up Glasner surely thinks he should have, I don't think he'd look at our transfer business as Palace-like.
